Sunny days are here.......fingers crossed (this is Oregon, after all)

We decided to move Wyatt's "garden" from our kitchen to the backyard, where it should be. While Dustin and I were planting Wyatt got to run through the sprinkler for the first time in 2009. So despite the fact that it's still technically spring, summer has started at the Dusschee house. I am a notorious plant killer, so wish us luck on this adventure in gardening. We planted peppers, corn, sunflowers, tomatoes, carrots, peas, squash, zucchini, pumpkins, a random mix of flowers and herbs. So, hopefully at least some of them will survive! :)

So, Wyatt and I were working on some crafts and he drew this. I asked him if it was his dad. He looks at me like i'm crazy. So, I ask if it was me. Again the crazy look. I ask if it's a truck. Still crazy. So finally I ask him what it is. His answer, a pickle. yup, that's a pickle.

Also Wyatt has decided that we have a baby. I went to use some baby lotion and he freaks out a little. I ask him what's wrong. He tells me not to use that lotion, it's for his baby sister. I asked him where this baby sister is and where did she come from. He tells me that his baby sister is in the hospital, because that's where babies come from. So then I ask him what her name is and he tells me "Weeden." Imagine if we were all named by three-year-olds. When I was pregnant I went to visit Nathan and he suggested that I name him Avacado instead of Wyatt.
I love my conversations with him. Today he also took the door mirror from my room and brought it into his room while we were playing in there. He's still completely facinated by how many goofy faces he can make. I asked him what it was and he said "a meard,( like beard, with a m) it's for lookin" So if you need to do some lookin, get yourself a meard.
